Depression & Anxiety
Depression & Anxiety
If you are sad or anxious, these feelings can be a result of not being able to successfully cope with events, people or circumstances we encounter.
Depression often creeps in slowly and casts a shadow over everything in life. Depression expresses itself in many ways. It can often mean loss of appetite, loss of motivation, anger, irritability, feelings of worthlessness, suicidal thoughts, lack of energy and sleep disturbances. All of these issues can be successfully addressed.
Anxiety can be a debilitating force that paralyzes and stops forward movement and pleasure. It is a generalized condition that affects virtually all aspects of your life…physical, emotional, personal and professional.
At its worst, you may experience rapid heart rate or sweating, exhibit the inability to leave the house, not be able to drive or cross a bridge in a car or feel insecure within yourself to the point where you can’t take care of yourself properly. However, these are not insurmountable problems. We can work in conjunction with medical intervention, if needed.
Our goal is to give you the capacity to see yourself and your world differently.
